Always loved cold war era supersonic bombers (and aircraft in general), wanted to combine the idea of old with bits of new future stealth aircraft styling. The long swept wings and T-tail of a B1 Lancer with the short fuselage and pointed snoot of that era of interdictors such as the F111 & the UCAV based on the loyal wingman program with D21 ramjet stylings to keep with the cold war theme.
